Lifetime Warranty

WPC COMPOSITE PRODUCT WARRANTY

This warranty applies to WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) products supplied by eComposite Products Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Supplier”).

The Supplier warrants to the original purchaser that any Composite product, when used in its proper intended application and installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation guidelines, will not flake, corrode, or become structurally unfit for use due to rot, splitting, checking, termite damage or fungal decay during the lifetime of the original purchaser at the original installation address.

If such structural failure occurs within the warranty period, the Supplier’s sole obligation shall be limited to the replacement of the defective Composite product supplied. This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.

This warranty does not cover the cost of installation, removal, disposal, transportation, reinstallation, or any associated labour or contractor costs. The Supplier’s liability is strictly limited to replacement of the product only and shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product supplied.

The following are not considered manufacturing defects and are therefore excluded from this warranty:

• Variations in colour, shade, tone or pigment between production batches
• Natural fading, weathering or UV-related colour changes over time
• Minor dimensional tolerances or differences between production batches
• Minor surface cracking, warping, or expansion/contraction caused by normal environmental exposure
• Normal wear and tear that does not affect the structural performance of the product

Composite products are manufactured using extrusion processes. Minor variation in colour, texture, shade and dimensional tolerances between production batches may occur and are considered normal characteristics of WPC products. These variations do not affect the structural performance or longevity of the product and do not constitute a manufacturing defect.

EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not apply to any Composite product that has:

• Been damaged due to force majeure events including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of war, or other events outside the control of the Supplier
• Been damaged during transportation, handling or storage after delivery
• Been installed incorrectly or not in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation guidelines, local building regulations or applicable planning requirements
• Been modified, altered, misused or treated in a manner not intended by the manufacturer
• Been used in a way that is inconsistent with the intended purpose of the product

Failure to follow installation guidance, local building regulations or product restrictions may render this warranty null and void.

CLAIMS PROCEDURE

In order to make a warranty claim, the original purchaser must provide:

• Proof of purchase showing the original purchase date
• Photographs clearly showing the alleged defect
• A written description of the issue
• This warranty certificate

The Supplier and/or manufacturer reserves the right to inspect the product and investigate any claim before determining whether the warranty applies.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Under no circumstances shall the Supplier be liable for labour costs, installation expenses, removal costs, consequential losses, incidental damages, special damages or any indirect losses arising from the use or replacement of the product.

The Supplier’s total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price paid for the product.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
