What’s included with my driveway gate?
You’ll receive 2 gate leaves, 4 hinges, a set of handles, a euro cylinder lock, a latch, and 3 keys.
Can I automate the gates?
While we don’t supply automated gates, an experienced installer can set this up for you. Our gates come with a handle on one leaf as standard. If you’d prefer a different setup, give us a ring and we’ll do our best to help.
Can you adjust the gate size?
We can make gates smaller, but not larger. There’s a £125+VAT charge for alterations on both composite and full aluminium gates.
What’s the maximum width for driveway gates?
Aluminium gates can be up to 4m wide.
Do I need posts with my driveway gate?
While you can install gates directly onto walls, we recommend posts for better security. If you are unsure, please call to discuss the best post options for your gate size.
How much space do I need for hinges and door stops?
For full aluminium gates, allow 50mm overall. For composite gates, you’ll need 75mm.
Are the gate widths including the hinge and door stop allowance?
The gate widths shown are the width of the gate without the allowance for the hinges and door stop. Please add the hinge and door stop allowance to get the overall width measurement.
